ReadyTech appoints Head of Strategy, Justice

ReadyTech has recruited the remarkable talents and experience of Simon Kelso to oversee strategy and engage with the justice market.

ReadyTech has secured the leadership experience of a former senior executive of the Federal Circuit and Family Court, Simon Kelso to spearhead its ambitious growth initiatives in the justice sector.

Simon brings extensive public and private sector credentials to his new role.  This includes many years of service as the Regional Manager for NSW/ACT courts of the Federal jurisdiction(s) and more recently as the Director of Business Development for Tyler Technologies (TYL U.S.: NYSE) - a USA based firm supplying technology to government organisations including the courts and justice sector.

This background has given Simon a deep understanding of the complex environment of government and the particular challenges of the justice sector.  This will be vital to the important role ReadyTech can play in providing modern and innovative solutions to justice and public safety agencies and in serving the community.

ReadyTech Co-Founder and CEO, Marc Washbourne, said the company has a focus on attracting deep domain knowledge and experience that supports future growth and innovation across its chosen industry verticals.

“As Head of Strategy, Justice, Simon’s profound experience, energy and insight will fortify ReadyTech’s ambitions to expand its role in the broad programs of reform under way across the justice sector." Marc said.

“Our team are looking forward to working with Simon to both engage more deeply with the justice sector and identify technology development opportunities to respond to clients’ emerging requirements.” Marc said.

Simon commented: “I am delighted to be joining ReadyTech, an innovative and impressive Australian public company.  I was particularly attracted to its incredible and world-class technology, strong local resource base and capability and the opportunity to work with an awesome team with its remarkable talent and client-centric commitment.”
