We are looking for an exceptional and dynamic Head of Product & Technology with a commercial head to lead productization and digitisation of our unique IP and bring best practice product principles to our business that aims to help people build better lives.

As the Head of Product & Technology you will:

  • Be responsible for the product and tech visions and product roadmap in response to the customer, market and government drivers and in collaboration with the Esher House team and wider ReadyTech group.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from vision, strategy to delivery.
  • A commercial approach. Understand return on investment drivers.
  • Build world class products with pragmatic and practical application and user experience that delights clients.
  • Support development and QA delivery teams.
  • Develop solutions now, with eyes on the horizon.

You’re someone who:

  • Comes from a product manager/owner background (preferably SaaS).
  • Has worked closely with engineering teams to identify and drive best practice software development processes.
  • Worked in an agile software development environment.
  • Is a Big thinker – displays outstanding thought-leadership, a collaborative nature, and the capacity to effectively engage and influence across not just and product and organisation, but an entire sector.
  • Is fascinated by what makes people ‘tick” and drives human behaviour?
  • Can inspire, lead, coach, mentor, influence and continually develop a cross functional software engineering team.
  • Facilitate and drive positive change. Make the hard decisions, get buy-in, bring people together, set the standards and drive a ‘client first’ approach.
  • Is a strategic and visionary leader who is or comfortable with being hands-on.
  • Is a self-starter, driven and comfortable with taking the initiative and leading from the front.
  • You are familiar with security, legislative and human-centred design requirements.
  • Who has high energy, passion and a drive for continual improvement embedded in your DNA.
  • A deep passion for analysing data and insights and using them to drive decisions.
  • Has knowledge of Adobe design and/or coding – would be a benefit but not essential.

The Position

The role encompasses’ responding to inbound enquiries from prospective customers as well as executing outbound tactics and activities to targeted prospects. You will be responsible for attaining key data to qualify the prospect and generating a qualified pipeline of ongoing sales opportunities.

As a key customer-facing team member, you will have strong communication skills and be proactive when establishing and nurturing relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve Sales targets at the same time as delighting new customers
  • Define strategies and act to generate long term and short-term customer success and business results
  • Develop and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities via outbound calling, use of social media and utilising your growing network
  • Engage with prospective customers via both inbound and outbound activities
  • Qualify prospects based on business needs and priorities matched to our capabilities. Progress opportunities through the sales cycle to successful sales
  • Professionally communicate with all appropriate levels of decision makers and influencers, managing stakeholders and resources effectively
  • Daily update of the Sales CRM system with accurate customer and pipeline data.
  • Accurate monthly forecasting and revenue delivery

Key requirements

  • 5+ experience in Sales/BDM role in a SaaS environment
  • Understanding of HR, T&A, Workforce Management or Payroll Systems is preferred
  • The ability to identify the requirements of the business and instinctively come back with a solution
  • Highly organised with the ability to plan cycles and touchpoints across your portfolio
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Be comfortable to adapt and multitask in a fast-paced environment

HR3 Payroll Support Consultant

We are looking for an enthusiastic payroll person looking to take the next step in their career.

You’ll be part of an open, highly professional and dedicated support team working for one of Australia’s leading providers of Employee Management Solutions based in our State of the Art office in Pyrmont, Sydney.

If you have excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving with a determination to get the job done, good decision-making skills and can remain calm under pressure then we want YOU!

Responsibilities and Key Criteria

Ideally, you will deliver a compelling customer experience for our valued customers with experience in any of the following:

  • End to End Payroll and /or HR Processes and Systems.
  • Candidates with experience in HR3 or other Payroll HR software would be viewed favourably, but not essential.
  • Providing customers with exceptional support via phone or email.
  • Prioritising workload and responding to clients in accordance to set SLA’s.
  • Escalating any issues to the Professional Services Team Leader and liaising confidently with clients to ensure details are accurate for a prompt resolution.
  • Keeping clients up to date on issue resolution.
  • Processing license upgrades and maintaining accurate records in CRM.
  • Other admin duties as required.

You must have good common sense and the ability to think on your feet and show initiative, coupled with a great sense of humour and personality to be the successful candidate.

SQL Server Database Administrator – 3 Month Contract (ReadyTech)

ReadyTech is a hyper-growth SaaS company who specialises in supporting organisations manage their employee life cycle.

We strive to ensure our people keep learning and growing as our business grows, and of course have fun! We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join us to help further innovate and optimise the various ReadyTech platforms.

The Role

We’re looking for a seasoned Database Administrator who has had extensive industry experience working with Microsoft SQL Server 2019, specifically in SaaS based environments. You’ll have proven experience in managing a large number of database instances, optimising complex stored procedures, and driving towards an always on, highly available environment.

The initial engagement will be for a 3 month contract period, with the opportunity to continue in an ongoing capacity.

Are you ready to:

  • Maintain and improve the backup and restore process
  • Performance tuning and optimization
  • Benchmarking of performance which includes setting up a monitoring and alerting mechanism
  • Ensure optimal and secure data storage
  • Implement a patch management process for the databases and host operating systems
  • Implement and monitor High availability – across datacentre
  • Work within a world class engineering team across multiple locations

Do you have:

5+ years of working as a DBA for a SaaS based organisation

Computer Science Degree (or equivalent)

Extensive SQL server knowledge, including but not limited to:

  • Query optimization, execution plans, resource utilization analysis.
  • Monitoring of wait times, deadlocks, memory, tempdb and transaction logs.
  • Load monitoring, query store monitoring.
  • Building cluster indexes on large datasets, managing indexes.
  • Understanding of parallelism and how it is implemented and configured in the latest version of MS SQL server.
  • Experience in implementing High availability (HA)
  • Installing and patching software.
  • Knowledge of best practices
  • Securing SQL server environments
