Customer Service Specialist (JobReady, Melbourne)

Summary

ReadyTech (ASX:RDY) is a leading provider of mission-critical people management software for educators, employers and facilitators of career transitions. We provide modern, cloud-based technology in the exciting environments of EdTech and HRTech.

This full time role is based at the ReadyTech offices in Docklands, Melbourne. Right now, we’re growing fast and we need an energetic technical customer experience superstar to join our team.

We’re looking for someone that is dedicated to providing exceptional support and service to our customers. You’ll work in our amazing Customer Experience Team, being the first point of contact providing phone and online support to our customers for our Student Management System (JR Plus)(https://www.jobready.com.au/product/jrplus) and make them raving fans.

The Role

  • Provide first level support to clients via phone and online support ticketing system (Zendesk)
  • Update online education resources & FAQs
  • Creating tickets in Atlassian’s Jira for investigation where required
  • Liaising with the Product & QA Teams

Required Skills and Experience

  • Have preferably worked for a Registered Training Organisation, College or Higher Education provider and strong understand of compliance and Government reporting (e,g. AVETMISS)
  • Be a great communicator (via phone, in person and online) – know when to pick up the phone and have a conversation
  • Be customer obsessed & solutions focused
  • Enjoy building strong relationships with customers
  • Experience in technology support functions, processes and tools with understanding of broader software development processes
  • Logical and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Consumer of data. Can quickly analyse, draw conclusions and build strategies and change programs that have impact
  • Strong interpersonal skills – Can work autonomously yet still form part of a team and collaborate, sharing knowledge, ideas and getting buy-in
  • Ability to build ‘case for change’, whether that be driving process improvements internally, or creating mini business cases to drive operational improvements.

The Position

The role encompasses’ responding to inbound enquiries from prospective customers as well as executing outbound tactics and activities to targeted prospects. You will be responsible for attaining key data to qualify the prospect and generating a qualified pipeline of ongoing sales opportunities.

As a key customer-facing team member, you will have strong communication skills and be proactive when establishing and nurturing relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve Sales targets at the same time as delighting new customers
  • Define strategies and act to generate long term and short-term customer success and business results
  • Develop and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities via outbound calling, use of social media and utilising your growing network
  • Engage with prospective customers via both inbound and outbound activities
  • Qualify prospects based on business needs and priorities matched to our capabilities. Progress opportunities through the sales cycle to successful sales
  • Professionally communicate with all appropriate levels of decision makers and influencers, managing stakeholders and resources effectively
  • Daily update of the Sales CRM system with accurate customer and pipeline data.
  • Accurate monthly forecasting and revenue delivery

Key requirements

  • 5+ experience in Sales/BDM role in a SaaS environment
  • Understanding of HR, T&A, Workforce Management or Payroll Systems is preferred
  • The ability to identify the requirements of the business and instinctively come back with a solution
  • Highly organised with the ability to plan cycles and touchpoints across your portfolio
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Be comfortable to adapt and multitask in a fast-paced environment

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking to employ a Support Consultant to be based in our state of the art offices in Docklands, Melbourne, working with a great team.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing customers with exceptional support via phone or email.
  • Prioritising workload and responding to clients in accordance to set SLA’s.
  • Escalating any issues to the Professional Services Team Leader and liaising confidently with clients to ensure details are accurate for a prompt resolution.
  • Relaying information back to the client to keep them up to date on resolution.
  • Processing license upgrades and maintaining accurate records in CRM.
  • Promote HR3’s services
  • Feedback of software issues or enhancement requests to Software Development team.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge of Australian payroll requirements.
  • Relevant experience with one or more payroll systems.
  • HR3 experience preferred but not essential – We will train you.
  • PC literacy and be familiar with the use of the Office 365 product suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service ethic.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Must have Australian Working rights to apply for this role.

Salary:

  • $60,000 plus 9.5% super
