Head of Product (Employment), ReadyTech

ReadyTech is a high-growth, ASX-listed EdTech Company that is a recognised Australian leader in the provision of mission-critical modern cloud-based software (SaaS) for educators, employers and facilitators of career transitions.
The Head of Product (Employment) will work closely with our Chief Executive of the Employment division to lead our product team ensuring our employees are engaged and our clients are lifetime champions. Ultimately, they will lead the next wave of our product’s evolution and play a role in shaping the future of work.

The Role

  • Obsessively be the voice of the customer
  • Develop and define processes and clear plans to deliver the product vision and roadmaps
  • Support, lead, and coach product managers in continuous improvement of product management skills through the effective application of the Agile philosophy
  • Build world class products with pragmatic and practical application and user experience that delights users.
  • Champion a culture that achieves the business goals, delights customers and keeps user advocacy at the heart of everything that ReadyTech does
  • Develop and effectively implement ‘Go to market’ plans, work cross-functionality to ensure successful execution
  • Assist in the sales process, meeting with senior client executives to discuss how the ReadyTech offerings can deliver on their program requirements
  • Collaborate with development team, bringing unique insights on real-world client needs to shape the product roadmap.

Experience required

  • Extensive experience in SaaS Product Management and User Experience (ideally in a Workforce Management, Payroll, HCM or ERP).
  • You have proven strategic and people leadership capability (minimum 5+ years’) with an ability to set and communicate an inspiring vision to your team, the company and the industry.
  • You understand the importance of customer success within a subscription software business model.
  • You are enthusiastic and highly passionate about growing and collaborating with a rapidly evolving company.
  • You’re restlessness with the status quo and a deep desire to grow.
  • You have a no ego mentality, a collaborative approach working with peers to achieve the best outcomes for our team and clients, including being hands-on.
  • You’re an exceptional communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation and industry.
  • You ideally have professional experience in workforce management, payroll or HR, with an understanding of compliance driven systems.

Payroll Consultant, ReadyTech

As a Payroll Consultant, you will join the Customer Excellence Team managing all aspects of payroll for your portfolio of clients across a range of industries, varying complexities and size.

The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge of payroll legislation, and processes, awards, but most importantly be a Customer Service extraordinaire.

  • Experience running multiple payrolls
  • Strong Analytical skills and can check reports & perform reconciliations
  • Extraordinary time management prioritisation skills and ability to meet deadlines
